Today’s choices impact our tomorrows. We all know that what we do today will have an impact tomorrow - whether good or bad. So, today I want to challenge you to make choices that will have a positive impact 100 years down the line.
First, start with being an inspiration to those around you! Enthusiastically, jump into our spirit days and lift the spirit of our school. Start with 100th Day, Monday March 7th, and dress up like you are 100 years old. Maybe ask your grandparents for some pointers, but here are some suggestions: suspenders, collared shirts and shiny, black shoes for the guys, and for the girls a skirt and a warm, woolen sweater. Feel free to come up with your own ideas! If you don’t have anything an old person would wear, don’t stress; you can wear your colour shirt! I can’t wait to see all of you making your future selves proud by dressing like grannies and grandads!
In all seriousness, remember that today, wherever you're at, you can make the right choices. Even if you think to yourself that you have made too many wrong choices, God will forgive you if you ask. Then, start making the right choices knowing that if you fail or mess up, God's grace is enough for you. Think about it. Dress up for 100th Day and have fun!
