As we reach the peak of the fall season, we see around us many changes. The leaves have turned from green to orange, and the air has changed from soft to crisp. One might view these things as merely regular occurrences; as nothing special at all. However, this isn’t the perspective I think we should have. Fall is a beautiful time to recognize God’s intricate handiwork. The changes in the weather, the length of days, and the scenery all play a part in God’s elaborate plan. When he created the world, these details were no coincidence.
“God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning — the sixth day.” – Genesis 1:31, NIV
His fingerprints are all over the world around us, but it’s up to us to choose to appreciate them. Fall is the season of thanksgiving, so let’s learn to celebrate together and admire the surrounding beauty. Remember to treasure even the little moments of the season because sometimes it’s these little things that mean the most.
"Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind."
– Psalm 107:21
